Subscription & billing
Yes — you can skip any upcoming box or pause your subscription entirely from your account at any time before your next billing date.
You can cancel anytime from your account page. [Confirm: is there a minimum number of boxes required before cancelling, or can customers cancel with no minimum commitment? Update this answer once decided — do not publish with this bracket still in place.]
Yes — your card is billed automatically each month, on the same date you first subscribed (not a shared billing day for everyone). If a payment fails, we'll automatically retry it a few times before your subscription is paused, so in most cases you won't need to do anything unless it keeps failing — in which case just update your payment details from your account.
[Planned feature — not yet live. Subscribers will get an email 3 weeks after each billing date with the option to retake the quiz and switch tiers, giving a 1-week buffer before the next box is curated. Do not publish this answer until that email automation is actually built and running.]

Your answers tell us the genres, tone, and reading experience you're after — a real person hand-picks your box around that, rather than a random algorithm shipping whatever's in stock.
We cross-check every box against your previous orders with us, so you won't get a repeat. And if there's anything specific you already own or don't want, just let us know via the quiz and we'll steer clear of it.
Every book in your box is pre-loved and kept to an excellent standard — no noticeable defects. If it's not up to that standard, we won't send it.
We know manga content varies a lot — that's why the quiz includes a content sensitivity section, so you can flag anything you'd rather we avoid. We'll always curate around what you tell us there.
Shipping
We process and dispatch every order within 12 working days, so we can properly source and check each book against your quiz answers. Once dispatched, UK delivery typically takes a further 2–3 working days.
Not yet — we currently only ship within the UK. We're focused on getting that experience right first, but international shipping may be added down the line.
Get in touch within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage, and we'll sort out a replacement or refund.
